Blanchelande's Got Talent
After three days of auditions and some very tough choices, the panel of judges selected 15 acts to go forward to the big night. Rehearsals quickly followed with PTA members and senior girls rallying round to organise lights, sound and props for the show. Excitement grew as the acts took their turn to rehearse. Our show director, Regina Luxon, worked with all the girls aiming to get the best from each performance.
The night of the show quickly arrived (1st April 2009) and an expectant audience filled the school hall. The comperes for the evening, Carolyn Le Maitre from Island FM, and Julie Chammings a former member of the PTA, did a fantastic job in presenting the show and creating a real buzz around the Hall.
