Blanchelande Girls’ College
Blanchelande Girls’ College

The Pre-School and Infant Department is co-educational, taking boys and girls from the ages of three to seven and is led by head teacher, Mrs Angie Tolcher.

This department is located in Victor House, at the lower part of the site. It has independent access by driving past the Little Chapel and the Clockmakers. The building was converted in 2003 and fully refurbished to house our youngest pupils. In addition to the beautiful building there is also a large covered veranda, decking area, and large outdoor playing field and activity area for the children.

The Pre-School and Infant Department follow the Golden Rules in order to encourage the children to be considerate and caring to others as they work together on the important foundations of their early learning.

Golden Rules

The Golden Rules are.................

Do be gentle..................................Don't hurt anyone

Do be kind and helpful..................Don't hurt peoples feelings

Do be honest.................................Don't cover up the truth

Do work hard.................................Don't waste time

Do look after property..................Don't waste or damage things

Do listen to people........................Don't interrupt

Keeping to these rules results in GOLDEN TIME for the children, where they can enjoy a variety of activities of their choice that are extra special during their normal school day.

We ask parents and children to read the Golden Rules and talk about them.

Please note there is a downloadable information booklet avaliable in the Parent/Student area.
