Parent Teacher Association
The Blanchelande PTA is made up of parents and teachers from the Infants, Juniors and Seniors who provide a broad base of ideas and experience. Members are nominated annually at the AGM in October and are elected for a term of one year but can be re-elected for up to three years. We hold a monthly meeting in the Principal's office where we discuss forthcoming school and PTA events
Class Representatives
Although not part of the PTA, our Class Representatives provide a vital conduit for raising parents' comments and concerns where appropriate. We aim to have two Representatives for each class.
How does the money raised get allocated?
The money raised is used to meet school requests ranging from musical instruments, new books or computer software. Furthermore each year the PTA will raise funds for a specific project. In the past this has been the new decking area in the infants, the new junior playground and picnic benches for the seniors to name but a few.

How can I help the PTA?
We are always looking for additional help, especially at our key fundraising events during the year. Whether you are able to provide time, cakes or donations please be assured that this is all greatly appreciated. By pulling together like a family, it's amazing what can be achieved for the good of the school.
