Admissions
Children may start at Blanchelande College in the term after they turn 3 years of age. Some parents register their children from birth to be confident that a place will be available. Children visit the School before they join us so that they can meet their teacher and become familiar with the environment.
Blanchelande College is a not an academically selective school. A place will normally be offered if the Principal feels that the College is the right place for the child, that they can benefit from the curriculum, and they can make the most of the opportunities available in order to achieve their full potential.
Taster Days can be organised through the School Office at any time. This allows children to experience a 'Day in the Life' of Blanchelande College, at no cost, to see if it is a school that they would enjoy coming to.
Families wishing their child to attend Blanchelande College are encouraged to register with us as soon as possible. Registrations are accepted at any time for any part of the College from Pre-School to Sixth Form.
Parents or guardians should complete the registration form and return it to the College Office together with a non refundable registration fee of £75 for the Senior and Junior departments or £25 for the Infant department, made payable to 'Blanchelande College'.
For Year 7 September entries, places are awarded following an assessment morning usually held in early February.
