Our Five Golden Rules
Our philosophy of education is a simple one and recognises that as a school we must always place the needs of our children at the heart of what we do. Every child is a unique individual with different talents and aptitudes. Our job as educators therefore is to fully develop their potential both academically, culturally, athletically and spiritually within a caring and supportive environment. This helps to build confidence and self-esteem which is essential for their happiness and well being.
For this reason we have 'Five Golden Rules' in the school which we expect all of our pupils and staff to follow. These reflect what we believe to be essential for their education and development:
- Do your best to be your best
- Be kind and helpful
- Treat others as you would like to be treated
- Be polite and well-mannered
- Respect the views of everyone in our community and beyond
