Years 1 and 2

In the Year 1 and Year 2 classes the vital early skills are continuously developed through a wide range of topics and interests by two very experienced and talented teachers, Mrs. Tolcher and Mrs. Davey.

The children’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm is used to enhance learning as reading, writing and number skills are firmly established and re-enforced. They also continue to benefit from the work of specialist teachers in Music, French, R.E. and P.E.

We begin to identify the talents of each individual child and help them to develop in preparation for the next stage of their education.
